Alpe d'Huez for Mountainbiking
The Ski Lifts are open in July and August and allows us
to get up high in to the mountains and includes a ride on
the famous "megavalanche
glacier". We will typically go up to Alpe d'Huez at
least once in your weeks stay but if there is a group of you
that wish to spend a week here then contact us and we can
provide accommodation up in Alpe d'Huez for you on a self
catered basis.
Alpe d'Huez has the following to offer....
- 25 marked routes of which we choose the best ones
for you to ride - often joining up two or three trails
too make a mammoth day out in the mountains
- 9 cross-country routes : 120 km of trails, open to
everyone
- 15 downhill routes : 130 km of trails
- 3 permanent downhill trails over 8 km long
- 2610 metres of downhill vertical drop from 3300
metres
down to 780 metres altitude (Bourg
d'Oisans our base) served by 9 ski lifts.
- Wooden ramps (beginner to expert level) and a bike park.
- A 6 day lift pass is approximately 70 euros for the
week.
