The Oisans

The Oisans is an area of outstanding natural beauty which includes the Ecrins National Park and the two famous mountain resorts of Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alps.

It also boasts an average of 300 days of sun a year more than the more famous bike parks of Morzine and Les Gets in the northern part of the Alps.

As well as mountain biking in the summer you can road ride, hike, climb, white water raft, kayak and swim, and there are also loads of kids activities.

The Tour de France and the Marmotte bicycle touring race have made it into a cycling mecca and now with the Megavalanche, the Mountain of Hell and also Ride Oisans  it is going to become a mountain bike mecca as well. 

The area boasts fantastic natural singletrack trails, tight never ending switch backs, mega cliff hugging traverses and full on super fast descents - oh and the odd climb or two - check out our video here >>

For those of you who can't get enough of the area in the summer the Oisans has two prestigious ski resorts of Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alps. Here you can ski, snowboard, and relax in the bars and cafes. As we can not ride in the winter we also provide Board Oisans based out of the same accommodation for those who prefer to be outside of the resorts.
