Mountain bike events in the Oisans Region
The Oisans hosts spectacular mountain bike competitions such as
the Megavalanche (the
world longest MTB downhill race, starting on the Alpe d'Huez glacier and finishing 30 km and 2 800 metres further down, in the centre of the village of Allemont).
The other well know mountains of Les Deux Alps also possesses
its own extreme (but less well known race) called the
Mountain of Hell.
Every year we provide a fully catered chalet up in
Alpe d'Huez for
the whole week of the Megavalanche.
