Ride

We will show you what we think are the best all mountain and gravity fuelled singletrack trails in the French Alps - you can ride the trails made famous by the Megavalanche (they are open all summer) in Alpe d'Huez and also the surrounding trails of Les Deux Alps and the rest of the Oisans valley including the massive descent off of the Col du Galibier and the 84 switchbacks of Oulles.

We are primarily into cross country so there will be some climbing to get the best runs down the mountains, but during July and August we make the most of the chair lifts at Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alps - to get up even higher. Outside these dates we use the Ride Oisans bus and trailer to get as much height as we can.

Of course for the ultra keen we will give you the opportunity to ride to the top of the mountain!

One road climb that always catches the imagination is that of the hairpin road up to Alpe d'Huez made famous by the Tour de France and we have road bikes available to hire if this takes your fancy.
